 A 41 km de Pointe-à-Pitre. Petit village de maisons en bois disposées autour d'une église blanche à clocher rouge au bord d'une baie protégée par les montagnes. Un des hauts lieux de la chasse et plongée sous-marine. La plage de la Grande Anse, à 2km de Deshaies, au sable roux, bordée de cocotiers, est une des plus vastes et plus belles de la Guadeloupe.

 41 km von Pointe-à-Pitre. Kleiner Ort mit Holzhäusern um eine weiße Kirche mit einem roten Kirchturm an einer Bucht, die von den Bergen im Rücken geschützt wird. Eines der Zentren Guadeloupes für Unterwasserjagd und Tauchen. Der Strand Grande Anse, 2km entfernt, mit rotblondem Sand, umrahmt von Kokospalmen, ist einer der längsten und schönsten Guadeloupes.
